Preparation: A Part of the Journey

Preparation is sometimes the most draining part of all journeys. The anticipation and conceptualizing of all possible scenarios and how to be prepared for them makes one exhausted. Still, the journey cannot begin without the preparation. The quiet moments spent in prayer, the questions about why and when and how on earth...

As I prepare all I can say is that my best is not quite good enough, that wisdom eludes me and that I'm going to be out of my comfort zone. All I hum in my spirit is "use me Lord to show someone the way, enable me to say, my storage is empty and I am available to you".

I have so little compared to what I believe is needed. I am so short-sighted compared to the vision required. So I'm asking for prayer and love and strength and everything in between. I am in the midst of preparation. Some parts are tough and others come more naturally. But it's not really about me at the end of the day, it's about Him.

Preparation...I'll make it somehow because 'He who began a good work in me will accomplish it'. Looking forward to the rest of the journey.
