Questions about Directions
Note: You know you're tired when you get aches in all sorts of places. Anyway, this week is flying by and there is still work to be done. I saw some of the tributes for Michael today and it hit me again how tragic death is for any family and community. Grief is something that must tear at the heart of God more than any of us can ever know.
On another note, I read Proverbs 20:24 (NLT) "The Lord directs our steps, so why try to understand everything along the way?" Yhep that's me always trying to find out what the game plan is before the time arrives. So I read this and a voice was screaming "DO YOU HEAR THIS!" The compulsion to be prepared is sometimes an obstacle in the journey of faith. Today I was challenged: if God knows where he's taking you then trust him to reveal what it is he wants for you and when he wants it for you! Thankfully, in his love and patience my heavenly Father understands me and kindly leads me along. He puts up with the nagging questions similar to "are we there yet?" Through it all he's shaping me and helping me to see that he clears the way before me.

Whatever the question you ask of God just know that he thought of the answer before you even saw the need. He says "I will answer them before they even call to me. While they are still talking about their needs, I will go ahead and answer their prayers!" Isaiah 65:24 (NLT). If that ain't reason to sing Hallelujah then I don't know what is!
