Toilet Roll Ministry

One of the students approached me today while I was at work. She asked me to get her some toilet roll. We had a brief conversation about general stuff. As she was about to leave she said to me "don't study too hard, make sure you have some worship"! I smiled and said "yes".

But seconds after she left my smile got bigger and bigger and I started to repeat the word "yes" in my mind. Toilet roll ministry: God definitely spoke through her to me. Study, at least the formal part, is the means to the end. If I let it squeeze out my worship or joy or time I have to truly serve people (and connect) then....it's not worthwhile.

I need to allow His worship to infuse my very existence and then the study comes next.

Some days there will be glory

Other days I'm sure will be another story

But by his grace He'll keep on working in and through me

That's really all a girl can ask for...that and toilet roll, of course.
