Much Given = Much Required

"From everyone who has been given much, much will be required; and to whom they entrusted much, of him they will ask all the more." Luke 12:48

It's easy to get into the culture of complacency
Compromise is the colour that suits every skin-tone
I'm more aware that when God calls us for His purpose- which is so pure and holy
The tendency is to do the bare minimum
I don't want to be defined by apathy and mediocrity
I wanna live so that if today is my last, people won't have to make up lies in my eulogy.

God has given me much; not so much material possessions, although I have some "nice" things. He's gifted me with grace and opportunities to experience environments and people that had a sensitivity to His voice. God has done things that He really didn't have to do. I have health, a home, family and friends. When I really sit down to count my blessings, I'm not overwhelmed by material possessions, truth be told I don't have that many. No, I'm overwhelmed by the awareness of God's discipline and grace in my life. I'm aware of the many situations in which God placed me in at a very early age. Situations and experiences which made me understand that sin and worldliness just don't pay!

So, because I've been given this treasure by God I'm required to share. Share through a song, poem, sermon but most importantly my ordinary-every-day-life. When I'm driving; walking; shopping; dating; grooming; eating; laughing; chilling; thinking...

God, you require much because you took the initiative to gift with much more
Your wisdom is what I need to open my eyes further
Your courage is what I need to walk on stronger
And your discipline is what I need to keep me from going my own way.

Does God get the whole say in my day or just in the morning when I pray?
