Annoying...but...Sabbath-is-a-comin'

Im currently doing some work as a youth support worker but i've also been trying to volunteer with my local to do some voulntary work with vulnerable and abused women. The only annoying thing is that the volunteer manager seems to not be taking it seriously. I keep getting the same registration forms sent to my address (i have filled it out ALREADY and online) and every time i call in people keep putting me on hold, transferring me to the wrong person or when I get transferred to her- she's BUSY!!

I'm not one to get in the way of admin and procedure but while they are fraffing around and sending me the same bits if useless information...I can't help but think of the people that could be helped during that time.

You have to do a Criminal Record Check over here in order to work with young or vulnerable people which is good but i think that they also need to have a check that would somehow detect apathetic people who have no calling in this arear. It takes special people to do these kinds of jobs and i wonder if sometimes these jobs are filled with people who really don't care too much...

Anyways, its Friday so i've got some more work to do before i start on the household stuff...BUT I'm just glad that the Sabbath is gonna be here in a few hours. So I say "SHABAT SHALOM"!!!
