A great sabbath...better week comin' up ahead

Going to campmeeting for the whole week starting from tomorrow...looking forward to working with the teens.

Anyways yesterday was womens ministry day and it was very very good. the preacher yesterday spoke God's word:

• Delay is healthy- in the meantime we need to learn to wait
• Coveting is a sin because it means you are making what other people have the object of your affections and longings...they had to go through either a negative/positive process to get where they are and so coveting assumes that we can get what we want instantly without waiting in God's timing and providence
• 'Remember what i did to the Egyptians and how i bore you on eagles wings' Ex 19. God always has a history with us even if we choose to believe that it was Him who formed our beginning and released us from a lot of the captivity that we have experienced

Anyways i was blessed, real blessed. Just to know that i'm in between captivity and total liberation, it keeps me on my feet, keeps me sober and keeps me longing for the day when i can enter the promised land....

maybe tomorrow, maybe many decades from now...Only Jesus Knows!
