New Semester

A new semester with new challenges and aspirations has arrived.

Today as I was reading and brainstorming for papers and projects a prayer remained in the forefront of my mind: "Lord, help me!"

At times intellectual pursuits and academic achievements can make a person believe that they do not need God. However, the more I learn, the more I realise that I need God. I need his love, his wisdom and his guidance. There are many who have claimed to be lovers of reason and knowledge who have lived their lives devoid of an EXPERIENCE with God and his love.

I for one do not want to be such an individual.
