Silence

Silence and I are becoming very good friends
I think this is all part of 'growing up'
Less need of background noise or familiar sounds

Silence
Well apart from the tapping of the keyboard
The humming fan
The chirping of the birds
And the van that just passed by
Then there's the tapping of my feet
The faint cry of the baby

I guess it's not so silent after all
But it's a lot better than what I'm used to
Thank God for growth and change!
