Thoughts of 2009

I'm at home with family and friends- that is an answer to prayer in and of itself.

Just spent a lovely evening with friends. We talked and ate and laughed- another special blessing.

As I sit here thinking about my new year resolutions I have assured myself that I am keeping it simple this next year. I am excited because I know that prayers will be answered and growth will be experienced.

As I talked to one of my aunties tonight I am assured that despite the challenges and uncertainties prayer is God's way of leading us on our journey. I hope that God will use anything to keep me humble and searching for his will in all things. 2009 is another year to experience God's grace and his work of growth in my life and the lives surrounding me.
